Renesas new R8C/Tiny Group devices  are now available.

R8C/2A family:  I2C-bus Interface (IIC)/Chip-select Clock Synchronous Serial Interface (SSU), 10-bit A/D Converter, 8-bit D/A Converter, Output Compare Timer, Voltage Detection Circuit, Power-On Reset Circuit, High/Low-speed On-chip Oscillator, and Sub Clock Generation Circuit are added to standard peripherals. Equipped with Hardware LIN Module. Maximum operating frequency is 20MHz. 64-pin package is available.

• R5F212A7 – 48k ROM, 2.5k RAM, LQFP-64 package
• R5F212A8 – 64k ROM, 3k RAM, LQFP-64 package
